Namaskaromi to the Adventure Motorcycling Legends
“The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.”
Intent: This page Namaskaromi is dedicated to Lone Riders, Solo Tourers, Adventure Motorcycling and cut-above-the-rest bikers from the Global and Indian Biking Community. Some whom I feel proud to put up on this page!
The impression of being a lone rider or an adventure motorcyclist, touring the distant and the unexplored regions conjures an image of an established persona, but are these really the terms that can be tossed up like confetti and reduced to perhaps displaying an ounce of free spirit? I disagree. Our definition of what we call a Motorbiking adventure is enamored by courage, curiosity, skill and preparation and with each ride, we learn and experience a new perspective. Each challenge offers a dab of wisdom and each destination is blessed with an array of memories and chutzpah to do it again!
Through my initiative Namaskaromi, literally meaning, I Salute you”, I aspire to feature and salute the “cut-above-the-rest bikers” from the Indian Biking Community, the riders for a cause, the occasional riders covering the remote and a few well-known ‘tourist’ places.
This section will bring to you the candid, innate and straight-from-the-heart narratives and experiences of our bikers and what it means to them to ride into the wilderness or the conventional destinations.
